Getting Started
Sign up for a free account, create your first workspace, add a project, and start creating tasks. It takes about 1 minute. No complex onboarding required.
No. Taskida runs entirely in your browser. Open it on your phone, tablet, or desktop and you are ready to go. No app download, no installation, no updates to manage.
Absolutely. Taskida works great for solo users. Manage personal projects, freelance work, side projects, or anything else on your own. You can always invite team members later when you need to.
Teams & Collaboration
Go to your workspace settings and invite members by email. You can assign them a role — Manager or Executor — and they will receive an invitation to join. They are up and running in seconds.
There are three roles. Owner has full control of the workspace, billing, and members. Manager can create and manage projects and tasks. Executor can view assigned tasks and mark them as complete. Simple, clear, no permission headaches.
Executors see only the tasks assigned to them. Managers see all tasks across their projects. This keeps your team focused on their own work without noise from others.
Taskida uses flat pricing, not per-seat pricing. Depending on your plan you can add up to 100 team members without your bill changing. Check the pricing page for the exact limits on each plan.
Tasks & Projects
When creating or editing a task, select High, Medium, or Low priority from the task panel. In Arkenstone you can type !high, !med, or !low directly in the markdown and it becomes interactive instantly.
Tasks are the main units of work inside a project — they get assigned, prioritised, and tracked. Todos are a checklist inside a task. Use them to break a task into smaller steps. Checking off all todos helps you track exactly how far through a task you are.
Progress is calculated automatically based on how many tasks in a project are marked complete. You will see a live progress bar on every project showing the percentage done and the number of completed versus total tasks.
Yes. Once a project is done you can archive it to keep your workspace clean. Archived projects are not deleted — they are safely stored and can be unarchived any time if you need to reference them.
Markdown & Arkenstone
Arkenstone is Taskida's built-in markdown editor for managing projects. It looks and feels like a code editor — clean, fast, keyboard-driven. You write your project in markdown and Arkenstone turns it into a live, interactive project. Every checkbox, priority tag, assignee, and date is clickable.
No. Arkenstone is completely optional. You can create and manage everything through the standard point-and-click interface. Arkenstone is there for power users who prefer working in markdown and want to move faster.
Ask any AI — ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Gemini — to write your project plan in Taskida markdown format. It will give you a structured document with tasks, priorities, assignees, and due dates. Copy it, open Arkenstone, paste it in, and hit Sync. Your full project is live in seconds.
